Quietly, in the background.

Living in our mountain community it’s easy for us to be absorbed by the beauty and the wildlife, the weather, the busyness of keeping up with daily chores and maintenance. Most of us have crafts, hobbies, projects we love working on. Many have families and neighbors we love to spend time with.

Folks who crave social activities aren’t particularly drawn to the lifestyle we offer; they’re more likely to settle in a community with abundant recreational opportunities, golf, bridge clubs, sports events, night-life.

Yet even the most nature-loving among us love getting together occasionally with friends. Many of us seek opportunities to share in community projects. A brief look at the reservation calendar for our community facilities gives a glimpse of some of the other opportunities that are regularly scheduled.
