Equipment

It takes large and costly equipment to keep our community running. Each summer we grade more than 50 miles of roads, and in the winter those same roads must be kept clear of snow. Our vehicles use nearly 10,000 gallons of fuel each year, and that’s just the beginning. Regular maintenance and upkeep are constant—oil changes, hydraulic fluids, tires, snow chains, plow blades, and grader blades all add to the expense of keeping our equipment reliable and ready.
