Fishing Committee:

Provides information to homeowners regarding fishing issues.  Information is distributed through new homeowners packets, brochures, special mailings, and the Glacier Viewpoint.  Meetings are held as needed.

Mission Statement

  • Improve quality for fishing in Glacier View lakes thus improving recreation for members.
  • Encourage catch and release to help better manage the limited assets of Glacier View Meadows.
  • Make informed and educated decisions regarding the stocking and harvesting of fish in Glacier View Meadows.
  • Encourage barbless hooks when fishing to better protect the fish populations.
  • Propose fishing regulations and permit fees that will facilitate a sustained quality fish population for the enjoyment of Glacier View Meadows members.
  • Promote use and enjoyment of Glacier View lakes by way of feedback from Glacier View members.
  • Recruit and train volunteers from Glacier View to patrol the lakes to ensure adhesion to existing regulations and discourage the taking of fish by non-permit holders.
